Terms of Use

Effective date: October 20, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the BrewPath mobile application ("BrewPath" or the "App") and the educational content and functionality made available through it.

BrewPath is provided by Maksim Shchutski, a sole proprietor registered in the Central Register and Information on Economic Activity (CEIDG) in Poland.

By downloading, accessing, or using BrewPath, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to them, you should not use the App.

About BrewPath

BrewPath is an educational application designed to help users learn about coffee through lessons, interactive exercises, mini-games, reference materials, progress features, and optional real-world Coffee Challenges.

BrewPath provides educational information and practice tools. It does not provide professional certification and does not guarantee particular brewing, tasting, or other results.

02

App License

The license to download and use the iOS version of BrewPath is governed by Apple's applicable Standard End User License Agreement and App Store terms unless another license is expressly provided.

These Terms supplement that license and govern BrewPath-specific matters such as educational content, paid content, subscriptions, purchases, functionality, and use of the BrewPath service.

03

Eligibility

You may use BrewPath if you are legally permitted to do so under the laws applicable to you.

If you are below the age at which you can independently enter into these Terms in your country, you should use BrewPath only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian where required by law.

04

No BrewPath Account and App Data

BrewPath does not currently require users to create a BrewPath account.

Learning progress, preferences, achievements, saved content, and other application state are stored locally on your device and, where applicable and enabled by you, through Apple's iCloud services.

Because BrewPath does not maintain a separate BrewPath account containing this progress, recovery or synchronization of application state may depend on your device, Apple Account, iCloud configuration, backups, and the availability of Apple services.

Local data may be lost if the App is deleted, the device is reset or replaced, or local data is otherwise removed without an available backup or synchronization mechanism.

Information about personal data and third-party services is provided separately in the BrewPath Privacy Policy.

05

Free and Paid Access

BrewPath may provide both free and paid content and functionality.

The amount of free content, usage limits, and functionality available without payment are shown within the App and may change over time.

Paid access may be offered through auto-renewable subscriptions, one-time purchases, or other purchase options supported by Apple's App Store.

The purchase screen shown before you complete a transaction will identify the product, access provided, price, and applicable billing model.

Purchasing or subscribing to one BrewPath product does not automatically provide access to future separate products or services unless this is expressly stated as part of the offer.

06

Prices, Offers, and Purchase Screen Variations

Digital content and functionality purchased through the iOS version of BrewPath are offered using Apple's In-App Purchase system.

The applicable product, total price, billing period, renewal conditions, and access terms will be displayed before you confirm a transaction.

Prices and offers may vary by App Store country or region, currency, applicable taxes, product configuration, eligibility, promotional availability, time, or lawful testing of different purchase-screen configurations.

Different users may therefore see different combinations of plans, prices, introductory offers, promotional offers, layouts, or purchase options. The terms displayed to you before you confirm a transaction apply to that transaction.

Where applicable law requires disclosure that a price has been personalized on the basis of automated decision-making, the required information will be provided before purchase.

Promotional and reduced-price offers will be presented in accordance with applicable consumer-protection and pricing laws.

07

Auto-Renewable Subscriptions

BrewPath may offer auto-renewable subscription plans, including monthly and annual plans.

A subscription provides access to the premium BrewPath content and functionality identified on the purchase screen for as long as the subscription remains active.

The subscription name, duration, full renewal price, included access, and any introductory or trial offer will be shown before you subscribe.

Subscriptions automatically renew for another billing period unless you cancel them through your Apple Account or Apple's subscription-management interface.

Cancelling a subscription prevents future renewals. Unless otherwise required by applicable law or resulting from a refund or other transaction adjustment, paid access generally continues until the end of the subscription period already paid for.

If a subscription price changes, any notice or consent required for continued renewal will be handled in accordance with Apple's procedures and applicable law.

When an active subscription ends, access to content or functionality requiring that subscription may end. Free content and any separately purchased non-expiring entitlement remain unaffected.

BrewPath may update, improve, or expand its premium content and functionality over time. Unless expressly stated in a specific offer, no particular quantity, frequency, or release schedule for future content is guaranteed.

08

One-Time Purchases

BrewPath may also offer certain content or functionality as a one-time purchase.

A one-time purchase does not create a recurring subscription.

Where a product is described as providing "permanent access", "lifetime access", or similar wording, this means that the purchase creates a non-expiring entitlement to the BrewPath content or functionality identified as included in that purchase. No recurring payment is required to maintain that entitlement.

Such wording does not guarantee that BrewPath, Apple's App Store, a particular operating system, device platform, Apple service, or other technical infrastructure will continue to exist or remain compatible indefinitely.

We may stop offering a one-time-purchase option to new customers in the future. Discontinuing its sale does not by itself terminate an existing valid non-expiring entitlement previously purchased by a user.

Corrections, updates, restructuring, and reasonable improvements may be made to purchased content.

Future separate courses, major expansions, products, or services are not automatically included in a previous one-time purchase unless the original offer expressly stated that they were included.

Eligible purchases may be restored using BrewPath's Restore Purchases functionality where supported by Apple and the relevant purchase infrastructure.

09

Payments, Cancellation, Withdrawal, and Refunds

Payments made through the iOS version of BrewPath are processed through Apple's App Store.

Depending on the applicable App Store storefront and transaction, Apple or an Apple affiliate may act as the merchant of record.

Payment processing, billing, subscription renewal, subscription cancellation, purchase confirmation, withdrawal from an App Store transaction, and refund requests are handled in accordance with Apple's applicable terms and procedures and mandatory consumer law.

Cancelling an auto-renewable subscription is different from requesting a refund for a transaction. Subscription cancellation can be managed through your Apple Account, while refund or withdrawal requests are handled through Apple's applicable process.

If Apple refunds, reverses, cancels, or otherwise invalidates a transaction, the BrewPath entitlement associated with that transaction may be removed or adjusted accordingly.

For issues concerning BrewPath content or functionality rather than App Store payment processing, contact us at hi@getbrewpath.com.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory right to withdrawal, refund, price reduction, repair, replacement, termination, legal guarantee, or other remedy available under applicable consumer law.

10

Digital Content and Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer, BrewPath's paid digital content and services must comply with mandatory legal requirements applicable to digital content and digital services.

If purchased BrewPath content is not provided, does not conform to the applicable contract, or is otherwise defective in a way covered by mandatory consumer law, you may have statutory remedies in addition to any remedies available through Apple.

We will handle consumer complaints relating to BrewPath content or functionality in accordance with applicable law.

11

Changes to BrewPath and Its Content

We may update BrewPath to improve or expand the learning experience, correct errors or inaccurate information, keep educational materials up to date, improve security or performance, maintain compatibility, change visual design, improve learning or game mechanics, or introduce new functionality.

Free features and free content may be added, modified, replaced, or removed.

Purchased content may receive reasonable updates, corrections, restructuring, and improvements.

Where applicable law imposes additional requirements on changes to paid digital content or services, including notice requirements or remedies where a change materially and negatively affects access or use, those requirements will apply.

We will not use these Terms to remove mandatory consumer rights relating to content or services that you have purchased.

12

Coffee Challenges and Safety

BrewPath may include optional Coffee Challenges or other real-world activities intended to complement its educational content.

Participation in these activities is voluntary. BrewPath does not supervise how you perform an activity.

Coffee preparation may involve hot liquids, electrical appliances, grinders, glassware, sharp components, and other equipment capable of causing injury or property damage if used incorrectly.

You are responsible for using equipment appropriately, following manufacturer instructions, exercising reasonable care, and deciding whether a particular activity can be performed safely.

Do not perform a Coffee Challenge or other activity if you cannot do so safely.

13

Educational Information

BrewPath content is intended for general coffee education.

We aim to provide accurate and useful information, but coffee preparation and sensory evaluation involve equipment differences, ingredient differences, personal preferences, environmental factors, and other variables.

BrewPath therefore does not guarantee a particular brewing or tasting result.

14

Intellectual Property

BrewPath and its original materials, including lessons, written content, illustrations, characters, graphics, exercises, educational materials, game elements, visual identity, and branding, are owned by or licensed to Maksim Shchutski and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Access to BrewPath does not transfer ownership of BrewPath or its content to you.

Unless permitted by applicable law or expressly authorized by us, BrewPath content may not be reproduced, distributed, sold, sublicensed, or commercially exploited.

The BrewPath name, branding, characters, visual identity, and associated materials may not be used in a manner suggesting endorsement, affiliation, or ownership without permission.

15

Availability

We aim to keep BrewPath available and functioning correctly, but uninterrupted or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed.

Availability may be affected by maintenance, technical problems, device or operating-system changes, App Store services, iCloud, network availability, third-party services, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We may discontinue BrewPath or particular features where reasonably necessary.

Where discontinuation or another change affects paid digital content or services, applicable mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

16

Third-Party Services

BrewPath may depend on services supplied by Apple and other third parties, including services used for App Store distribution, purchases, purchase-entitlement management, iCloud functionality, diagnostics, analytics, or similar technical purposes.

Those services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies provided by their respective operators.

Information about third parties that process personal data in connection with BrewPath is provided in the BrewPath Privacy Policy.

17

Responsibility and Liability

You are responsible for using BrewPath and any coffee equipment involved in optional real-world activities in a reasonable and safe manner.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for loss or damage resulting from misuse of BrewPath, improper use of equipment, failure to follow safety instructions, or events outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability where such exclusion or restriction is prohibited by law.

In particular, nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts mandatory rights available to consumers.

18

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when BrewPath changes, when our commercial model changes, when legal or regulatory requirements change, or when clarification is reasonably necessary.

The current version will be made available through BrewPath and/or at getbrewpath.com/terms.

The effective date at the beginning of this document identifies the current version.

Where a change materially affects existing users' rights or obligations, we will provide notice where required by applicable law.

Changes to these Terms will not retroactively remove mandatory consumer rights or rights already attached to a completed purchase where doing so would be unlawful.

19

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland.

If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections that apply under the law of your country of habitual residence.

Nothing in these Terms requires a consumer to bring a dispute exclusively before a court in Poland where applicable law gives the consumer the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
